About Fortify

Fortify is a new system by Fuzion that includes a new revolutionary flexible base and builder gel in one. The main components of this 3 Step System are Bond, Construct, and Gloss. It comes in regular and HEMA Free formulas. 

The Fortify System is amazing for natural nail overlays, structured gel manicures, and gel polish manicures. It is also an incredible base for your hard gel services to prevent lifting, seperation and service breakdown.

Fortify is designed for virtually every client's needs! It's intense strength makes it extremely versatile, ensuring a successful service outcome every time!

How To Use Fortify

The way to use Fortify depends on the look you want to achieve. 
We have expanded the Fortify line with products that can be combined to create a variety of services. Continue below to learn how to use Fortify based on
what manicure service you're trying to achieve.
What do you want to achieve?

STRUCTURED GEL MANICURE

A Structured Gel Manicure is a thin, yet durable overlay that provides strength and structure to your natural nails. Product is maintained every 2-4 weeks by refilling growth areas, can be soaked off when needed.

BASIC GEL MANICURE

A Basic Gel Manicure is a no-chip manicure that is more durable than polish alone. Manicure is maintained every 2-3 weeks by soak off removal and a full new application.

STRUCTURED GEL MANI   Method 1: Fortify Structured Gel Mani

1. Bond


First prep the nail: using a hand file or e-file, remove all shine and debris from the natural nail. File the free edge to your desired shape. Cleanse the nail to remove all dust & oils 

Apply Bond to the entire surface of the nail. Gently scrub into the surface.

Apply 1-2 coats; no cure required.

Bond is naturally HEMA Free!

2. Construct

Construct can be used in 2 ways:

 1. Use a very thin layer of Construct as a base layer under hard gel. You should be able to see texture on the nail. Do not over apply. This will virtually eliminate lifting, separation, and service breakdown on your trouble clients.
Cure 60s UV/LED.

2. Use Construct to create a simple, durable overlay for your gel manicure. When doing this, apply Construct to the whole nail, then before curing, float a moderate amount of additional Construct to create the structure of the nail.

3. Gloss


At this point in your service, you can apply your colour of choice, or leave a natural look. 

This tack-free, super shiny topcoat is perfect for both hard gel applications and overlays with Construct.

Cure 60s LED, 120s UV.

What is Colour Construct?

Construct vs. Colour Construct

Construct, as described above, is a crystal clear gel that comes in 15ml bottles, 30g jars, and 250ml refill sized bottles.

We also carry a line of "Colour Construct".  Colour Construct has all the same properties of the clear Construct, but with added colour...and glitter for some!

Colour Construct can be used in place of clear Construct in structured manicures with some adjustments. Click below to view all Colour Construct, with instructions.

STRUCTURED GEL MANI  Method 2: HEMA Free Fortify Structured Gel Mani

Do you or your clients have allergies to HEMA? Or do you just prefer to work HEMA Free? This new formula offers you all of the benefits of regular Fortify, but without HEMA! Watch for the shiny rose gold lids (as opposed to matte) and our HEMA Free symbol.

2. BASIC GEL MANI

Below are the steps to acheive a basic gel manicure service. These products are now available in the Fortify formula, and are HEMA Free!

2. HEMA Free Base


A traditional gel polish base gel, with an advantage! 

This gel has all the adhesion properties of Fortify Construct, but in a thin, HEMA Free formula that will bond to your clients' natural nails for long lasting, chip-free results!

Cure for 60s LED / 120s UV

3. HEMA Free Gel Polish


This highly pigmented gel polish is in the Fortify Construct formula - but with a thinner, easier to apply viscosity.  It is not designed for building or floating!

Apply 2 thin, firm-pressure coats, curing 60s between coats for best results.

4. HEMA Free Shiny Top


A beautiful tack-free shiny topcoat that is HEMA Free!

This topcoat is recommended as a last step for basic gel manicures.

Apply 1 coat, cure for 60s for best results.
